On October 11th 2018, at 7am, our 4th child, Daisy Chalmers, was born in the Snowdrop Suite at Northampton General Hospital. Despite being only 19 weeks and 5 days old, our beautiful little princess left us with such special memories of her brief life. We were able to hold her in our arms and share our family’s love for her – love which continues and will do forever.
Throughout the painful journey, both before and after the birth, we have been supported by so many good people. Since Daisy’s passing, we have worked tirelessly to raise funds for local and national charities and we are continuing to run events. Our GoFundMe page gives us the autonomy to continue to help people and choose the right charities that are close to our hearts. We as a family made a promise that we will live our lives as a legacy to Daisy and try to help other families who find themselves in a similar situation or people in need. Since the inception of TeamDaisy, we have raised almost £15000 in her name.
#TeamDaisy will be taking part a number of events again this year including a charity football match, the London Landmarks Half-Marathon, the Isle of Wight Challenge and the Great North Run.
